ACCOMMODATION AT TIRUMALA |
There are as many as 5300 rooms available at Tirumala including free accommodation. The Tariff ranges from Rs15 to Rs.2500 per day. In addition there are various mathams like Kanchi, Sringeri, Auhobila etc. who also provide accommodation on payments.
There are several large choultries with free unfurnished rooms for families to stay in reasonable comfort. For free accommodation, the pilgrims may contact the Central Reception Office (CRO). Sheds as well as Dormitory Halls are also provided for the pilgrims to take rest. Paid accommodation will be provided at the CRO, Tirumala. The devotees can have accommodation by waiting in 'Q' line at the CRO. For paid and furnished accommodation, devotees may write to the Asst. Executive Officer (Reception-I) T.T.D., Tirumala 30 days in advance by sending a demand draft obtained from any Nationalised Bank for Rs. 100/- in favour of the Executive Officer, T.T.D., Tirupati. Advance reservation can also be made at all Information Centres and Kalyanamandapams located in all the district headquarters 30 days in advance by paying the requisite amount.
Advance reservation at Tirumala:
An Advance Reservation Daily chart is being displayed on the Notice Board outside ARP counter in Central Reception Office, Tirumala. The chart contains the names of pilgrims who have been allotted accommodation. Regarding sevas, please contact 'Information' counters at Tirumala.
If the devotees have not received acknowledgement or confirmation letters from the AEO (ROI), TTD, Tirumala, they may dial 77681 between 11 a.m. and 5. p.m. except on holidays or 70928 at any time and get information by giving DD/MO particulars.
Separate DDs should be sent for accommodation and seva tickets. DDs, be drawn atleast 3 months in advance for sevas in favour of Executive Officer, TTDs, Tirupati should be sent along with a requisition letter to Peishkar, Sri TTD, Tirumala.
