Nirmal artists are experienced in making the idols of Gods and Goddesses, vermilion boxes, trays, screens, jewellry boxes, wooden trays, ganjupa (box containing playing cards), cone gulla (Dome shaped plate for covering food items) etc., The themes used in these paintings are mostly mythological.
